Fee base 2009

All contracts carried out in France are subject to VAT of 19,6% on top of fees. Export contracts are exempt of VAT.

Coaching :

Interview, 20 minutes Free of charge
Individual, at my private office €60/hour
Individual, at another office €100/hour
Corporate €300/hour
Private communications coaching €120/hour

Training and moderating :

Teaching, hourly €200/hour
Teaching, daily (6-8 hours) €1400/day
Leading half-day workshops or conferences €800/half day
Conception/preparation/follow-up €800/day

Writing, editing, and critiquing :

Please note that in all instances, except concerning literary texts, I will assume that you want me to write text especially geared to sell you, your product, and/or your ideas in view of using the documents as effective marketing tools.

Résumé (CV) critiquing/editing  €100/hour

Web site text critiquing/editing  €100/hour

Brochure critiquing/editing  €100/hour

Business writing : Reports, including market studies and financial or annual reports, are undertaken only upon estimate. €120/hour

Copy-editing:

I proofread your document or manuscript for grammar, punctuation, sense and style, correcting errors and suggest what I feel are improvements, but I do not correct content, characterization, arithmetic, figures or structure, etc.

Coach-Critiquing:

Coach-critiquing involves personal sessions addressing the organization and substance of the story/report/book that you have written.

Face-to-face or telephone and e-mail coach-critiquing is invoiced at the same rate as regular coaching sessions (see above) plus reading time billed at a minimum of €4 per double-spaced manuscript page.

Non-coaching critiquing, which involves a written report from me with a critique plus the return of your manuscript with suggestions marked in the margins, is billed as follows:

I will provide you with a written estimate after our initial exchange of correspondence, e-mail or phone calls. Payment is due upon submission of the manuscript or project, as per the written estimate.

If I do not feel comfortable with your voice, style or content, I will decline the assignment and return your payment with the manuscript.

I can't guarantee your work with will be published or that you’ll find an agent.

Expenses:

The above rates do not include expenses for travel, postage (if excessive) or, in the case of market research where considerable phoning will be required, the cost of local or long-distance phone calls required by the project. All pre-agreed expenses are invoiced at cost. The cost of training materials, room rentals, museum entrace tickets and refreshments for seminars is not included in the above fee rates.
