Getting off the Ground Globally

Nataly Chevrier

a trilingual (French, English, Spanish) Franco-Canadian national residing in the south of France, with more than ten years of professional experience in career, interpersonal and cross-cultural issues, offers freelance expertise in:

    Nataly Chevrier
  • DEVELOPMENT, PERFORMANCE AND TRANSITION COACHING
  • CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
  • HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTING

Some of the topics she masters are:

  • Dealing with corporate or national culture change
  • Adapting to down-sizing and increases in workload
  • Preparing for a promotion or job entry
  • Coping with interpersonal conflicts in the workplace
  • Balancing out private and professional demands
  • Stimulating personal development and new foundations
  • Starting or developing one's own business

Her clientele consists of international corporations, expatriates, senior operations and R&D managers, MBA-level students, faculty, entrepreneurs and other professionals. Her focus is goal-orientated, involving development of management and communication skills, personal resource mining and exploration of personal and professional attitudes and behavior supportive of success.

ACC-coach certified by the International Coach Federation, a graduate of Coach-University and a certified Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, she also has a Master's in Sociology from UQAM, Quebec, and an MBA in Change Management from IAE in Aix-en-Provence.

Her approach to coaching is akin to the British school of coaching ("The Inner Game", Galway ) in that it reconciles both the humanistic principles developed by philosophers and psychologists such as Jung, Rogers, and Maslow with the solid, down-to-earth pragmatism-cum-humor that characterizes the British school. She incorporates NLP techniques especially when working on well-formed outcomes, mobilization of resources, and change processes. She also uses other models based on personality assessments (self and 360º).

As a coach, she feels that the most important service she renders her clients is providing them with a space in which they can become fully aware of their personal resources and shortcomings in an atmosphere of acceptance, explore alternatives safely, learn to assume full responsibility for their own development, and put their best plans and intentions into action.

Increasingly aware of the inevitable link between body, mind and spirit, Nataly has gradually developed a more holistic approach to coaching, encouraging her clients to combine coaching with new forms of exercise or health care. This has helped many of her clients get "unstuck", increase self-awareness, and implement durable change through better health and self-respect.

Nataly is an on-going consultant and coach for the APEC (Association pour l'Emploi des Cadres). In the past, she worked as an expatriate advisor for the Bureau du Québec (OMI) and was a program officer in Mozambique for the U.N. World Food Program for two years.

She shares her life with her husband and two children, plays the flute and practices Ashtanga yoga.
